While making every reasonable attempt to ensure the completeness of the information supplied, neither we, nor the Insurance Providers, make any representation as to the accuracy. The Insurance Providers reserve the right to change any information provided by them at any time. In some cases the information and material contains opinions. Neither Affordable Health and Life Limited nor any of the Insurance Providers warrant or make any representation that the opinions are accurate.

Pricing and types of cover offered

Affordable Health and Life Limited provides you with the platform by which to obtain indicative pricing from selected Insurance Providers. We must stress that any pricing and covers offered on the Website are for information purposes only and are subject to underwriting by the selected Insurance Provider based on the information supplied in the Application Form. Neither we, nor the Insurance Providers make any representation as to the accuracy of the information supplied. If the information you have supplied is incorrect then what you receive from Affordable Health may also be incorrect.

What we offer

We and the Insurance Providers do not offer advice or recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that any decision you make as to whether or not to purchase a particular product or service, or enter into a Contract of Insurance with a Insurance Provider, lies solely with you and you do so at your own risk. You also agree that your decision to continue with your Contract of Insurance and/or take out any further or different cover with any Insurance Provider is solely your own decision and at your own risk, and not made in reliance on any advice by us or by any Insurance Provider. Neither we nor any of the Insurance Providers makes any representation about the suitability of the product or products you have chosen. By agreeing to this Disclaimer Statement you accept that you have not relied on any advice or opinion expressed or implied in this Website or by any Insurance Provider in any decision you have made to buy any Insurance Provider's product. You agree and accept that you have gathered sufficient knowledge to make your own informed decision about entering into a Contract of Insurance with an Insurance Provider and have made your decision solely on that basis. However, we and the Insurance Providers make no representation that the information on affordablehealth.co.nz or the other material available is accurate or complete at all times.

How we are remunerated

There is no charge for the use of this Website. However, if you elect to enter into a Contract of Insurance with an Insurance Provider and it accepts your application, you acknowledge and agree that Affordable Health and Life Limited will be paid a commission with the relevant Insurance Provider.

What happens if you have a complaint?

If you have a complaint, please contact Affordable Health and Life Limited in the first instance. Should you not feel satisfied, you can contact the Insurance Provider. Affordable Health and Life Limited and the Insurance Providers have a formal complaint process in place to address any concerns you may have. If neither we, nor the Insurance Provider can resolve the matter to your satisfaction then you can contact the Insurance and Savings Ombudsman at info@iombudsman.org.nz or telephone 0800 888 202 to see if your complaint falls within their jurisdiction. By proceeding you agree and accept that the laws of New Zealand apply to any dispute and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand.
